We are proud to share that CCL Design Nuremberg has been awarded the Gold Certificate of the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact, recognising its long-standing commitment to environmental and climate protection.
Plant Manager Harald Dassow accepted the award on behalf of the Nuremberg team during a ceremonial event held at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
The Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact recognises businesses that demonstrate a sustained commitment to environmental responsibility and climate protection. The Gold distinction represents an important acknowledgement of organisations that have continued to make environmental considerations part of how they operate.
For our Nuremberg site, the award reflects the collective efforts of employees and their ongoing focus on sustainable and responsible business practices. Achievements such as this are built over time, through consistent improvements, responsible decision-making and the everyday contribution of teams across the business.
Operations Director, Stefan Träger spoke of how proud he is of the team. “This award reflects the commitment and hard work of our team in Nuremberg and the continued efforts being made across the site to operate in a responsible and sustainable way. This award is not only recognition of the progress we have made, but also an encouragement to keep moving forward, building on our achievements.”
Receiving external recognition is particularly valuable because it demonstrates that environmental responsibility goes beyond individual projects or initiatives. It is an ongoing commitment that requires people across CCL Design to play their part and consider how operations can develop in a more sustainable way.
While this is an important milestone, it is also encouragement to continue moving forward. Environmental and climate considerations remain an important part of responsible manufacturing, and the Nuremberg team will continue to pursue its environmental and sustainability goals with the same commitment and determination.
